Introduction

This site will contain details of the life story of one of England's greatest landscape gardeners, Lancelot "Capability" Brown.

The site is divided into sections to make it easier for you to find your way about. The main sections we are working on at the moment are his life story and the gardens on which he worked.

Lancelot Brown finally rests in Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire, a few miles down the road from where this site is administered.
